Q. How do I turn my
registration in?
A. Completed registrations and payments can be mailed or
handed in to the office.
Q. Where is the office located?
A. The SportZone office is located in the building just
to the northeast of the arena at 3909 SW Burlingame Rd,
Topeka, KS 66609.
Q. What are your office hours?
A. Monday-Friday 10am – 5pm. Forms can be turned in at
the arena. Arena hours depend on activity for that
evening. Please turn all forms in to manager on duty.
Q. I turned my registration in
and have not heard from a coach. What should I do?
A. Leagues that require individuals to be placed on
teams generally take 10-14 days from the registration
deadline to form teams, find coaches, and send rosters
out. If more than two weeks have past and the coaches
meeting has already occurred, you should contact the
league manager to check the status. All teams are
generally assigned minimum of two weeks before the first
game is schedule.
Q. How are teams formed for
Mega Soccer, Flag Football, and Basketball?
A. There are a couple of steps that Sportzone
administrators will go through:
1. Check for preferred teammates/coaches

3. Assign randomly to teams that need players still.
Q. How do I volunteer to coach
my child team?
A. Generally, leagues requiring volunteer coaches will
have a space available on the registration to indicate
whether a parent is interested in coaching. Mark the
correct space and a league representative will contact
you if a coach is needed. If all coaching spots are
filled then one may approach the head coach at practice
and ask to help.
Q. How are teams formed for the
Northeast Kansas Football League?
A. Teams are separated into school districts and players
will be placed onto teams according to their school
district. If the school district is full than the player
may be placed on a different team needing additional
players. |
